Day 75

The Gondola's in Venice

Piazza San Marco

Day 75- Monday March 22nd 2010

Today, after I worked in the print room, we had a lecture on festivals and events during the Renaissance in ‘Forces that shaped cities’. I worked out after- Mondays are now a routine for me. No one likes Mondays. Why do I even blog about Mondays? But Mondays are the days that step me back into reality- if you want to call living in Florence a reality. I have been in the mindset of a tourist traveling throughout Italy for the past 3 days- so Monday is usually the day that tells me ‘okay Brandon, you’re a student at kent, which is in ohio, and you have work to do. You have classes you have to go to.’ Then, at the end of the week, im telling myself ‘okay Brandon let go of those thoughts and travel the world’. Not a bad way to live if you ask me.

We still didn’t get our test back in Forces, so I don’t know my midterm grade for the class yet. Not much is new… Tommy is feeling better. His dad is here for a while, just making sure he is okay and everything. He doesn’t think he will be able to go back to school till after spring break… which I don’t want to think about right now, but im going to have to, because it is so close!! Man, this semester is going by so fast!!
